On March 1st, the museum opened the 4th Annual Trailblazing Women of Clearwater exhibit presented by Pinellas Community Foundation. The exhibit is dedicated to Sallie Parks, a great supporter of the Clearwater Historical Society Museum and the Trailblazing Women’s Exhibit. This year’s honorees are:

• Gertrude Warnick

(1896-1953) a Hero nurse at the Littlefield Nursing Home in Largo.

• Maria Nieves Edmonds

(1946-2017) Co-Founded Women on the Way at St. Petersburg College and past president of Leadership Pinellas.

• Julie Scales

Executive Director of Pinellas Community Foundation

• Nicole Stott

Artist and an Astronaut. One of the founding directors of Space for Art Foundation.
